OUR FATHER'S DAY GIFTS!

At the end of August we started creating gifts for our Father's for Father's Day which we celebrate on the first Sunday in September.



Mrs R thought it would be a great idea to use some Web2.0 tools to create our presents. We used Smile Box for our Mother's Day Presents. Mr D showed Mrs R a great site called The Hero Factory. At this site you can create your own super hero. We made our Dads into super hero by choosing a super hero costume, and super hero weapons.



After making our super hero dads we had to take a screen shot, paste it into a word document, crop it, drag it out and enlarge it and then insert speech bubbles and type in the special super hero characteristics of our dads.



We also created a wordle for our dads, we then saved them into our folders and printed them out to the colour photocopier in the office. Mrs R then laminated them back to back.



Mrs R has been showing us how to convert a word document into a jpeg so that we can upload things like our wordles and pictures we create through artpad as an image on our blogs. After saving our super hero dads we had to convert them into jpegs and save them into Mrs R's folder so that she could put them on our blogs. Not everyone has finished converting them but here are some that Mrs R has put into one true media.
