This term we are reading the book "100 Cupboards". This is a very mysterious book. It is about a boy called Henry. He goes to live with his uncle, aunt and 3 girl cousins in a small town called Henry. We discover that he is there because his parents had been kidnapped. We thought that maybe his parents had died at first but then Henry's cousins ask him what happened to his parents then we realised that they didn't abandon him.
The book is mysterious because Henry discovers cupboards hidden behind the wall in his room which is in the attic.
He manages to open one of the cupboards and a cool breeze coomes from the cupboard and he can hear trees rustling. We said that it reminds us of the story "The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe". These could be magic cupboards to other worlds.
