During Term 1 we were studying Aboriginal Myths and Legends. After reading lots of different myths we wrote our own. While we were reading the different myths we were also examining the art of the different Aboriginal Tribes. We learnt that they made their paint out of ochre which is crushed rock mixed with water and blood. They used sticks and hand made brushes to create their paintings. They also used dots, and straight and curved lines. After looking at many different types of Aboriginal art we had a go at creating our own art in the style of Aboriginal art.
