On Wednesday March 4th, we took part in WORLD MATHS DAY. We registered on Mathletics, who had organised the event. We were amongst a very large group of children all over the world who took part in answering lots of different maths problems.
We were competing against children all over the world. We found that some of the people we competed against were from Guam, United States, Australia, Canada and Japan just to name a few.
It was lots of fun and we were practising our tables at the same time.
There were 2 001 570 participants from 204 countries and 452 682 681 questions were answered correctly.
A Year 4 boy from Australia called Kaya G became World Champion by answering 129 106 questions correctly.
We didn't answer that many but we enjoyed playing against other children around the world.
