On the 31st of October it was Halloween and it isn't just about trick or treating, eating lollies, dressing up scary and so on. Here is an example of a Halloween description done by someone in our class.
On the 31st of October every year is Halloween. The word Halloween means ''hallowed eve'' (holy eve). Halloween is the night before All Saints Day which is on the first of November. On All Saints Day we pray for all those who have become saints. All Souls Day is when we remember and pray for all those who have died. All Souls Day is on the 2ND of November.
